Psychologist, certified Gestalt therapist,
supervisor, trainer, business consultant
I help people find themselves in difficult situations — in relationships, at work, in their sense of self-worth. I work one-on-one, lead therapy groups, and provide supervision for practicing therapists. Sessions are available online for clients all over the world.
My name is Oleksii Vinohradov. I am a psychologist and Gestalt therapist — an accredited therapist, supervisor, and associate trainer of the National Association of Gestalt Therapists of Ukraine (NAGTU). I have been in private practice since 2008.
Gestalt therapy is an approach that helps a person understand themselves better: their feelings, reactions, needs, and the ways they build relationships with the world. I don’t give advice and I don’t “cure”. I walk alongside the person, helping them find their own answers and their own resources.
Beyond individual therapy, I lead psychotherapy groups and training programs. I provide supervision for both beginning and experienced therapists — individual and group. I also have experience in business consulting: questions of career, leadership, and development.
I am a member of the New York Institute for Gestalt Therapy (NYIGT), run a video blog about Gestalt therapy, and publish articles on psychotherapy. I consult online — for clients anywhere in the world. I also offer sessions in English.
I work with a wide range of topics. Below are the main areas in which I have the most experience.
Drahomanov National Pedagogical University, degree in Psychology (diploma, 2006)
Gestalt therapy levels 1, 2, and 3 at the National Association of Gestalt Therapists of Ukraine (NAGTU). Certified 2014.
Specialization in “Organizational consulting in the Gestalt approach” — Kyiv Gestalt University (KGU)
Specialization in “Working with sexuality in the Gestalt approach” — NAGTU (National Association of Gestalt Therapists of Ukraine)
Accredited therapist of Kyiv Gestalt University. Member of NAGTU (National Association of Gestalt Therapists of Ukraine)
Associate member of the New York Institute for Gestalt Therapy
Member of the UK Association of Gestalt Practitioners (UK AGP)
Member of Gestalt Australia & New Zealand (GANZ)
Member of the International Association for the Advancement of Gestalt Therapy (IAAGT)
Beyond my private practice, I work to spread knowledge about Gestalt therapy and to build a community of professionals.
Founder of the online community “Gestalt Club” — a platform for popularizing Gestalt therapy among a broad audience. Over 150,000 members across various social networks.
Founder of the “Gestalt Practice” project — a platform for the professional development of practicing Gestalt therapists through online webinars, master classes, and lectures.
President of the Gestalt Research Association. Chair of the research committee of the International Association for the Advancement of Gestalt Therapy (IAAGT).
Co-organizer of the intensive “Space of Relationships” and the conference “Group Processes in Psychotherapy”.
I run a video blog about Gestalt therapy on YouTube. Author of academic publications and the book “Therapeutic Tales, or Seven Stories of a Dead Client”.
I conduct research to strengthen the evidence base of Gestalt therapy:
I also take part in international research on Gestalt therapy.
If you’d like to book a session or learn more about my work, write or call. I reply personally and try to do so as quickly as possible. The first meeting is a chance to get to know each other and to see whether we’re a good fit to work together.
